SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT NEEDS SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES

At SusTec Institute, we are focused on disruptive technologies that can help to reach the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our International Board of Experts evaluate technical ideas from individuals, start-ups, organizations, projects, and businesses. Whenever our experts see potential, we offer support, which can be financial, administrative, consultative, or any other kind of help needed.

Our Experts have decades of experience in their fields, and we decided to bundle this endless source of knowledge under one roof - the SusTec Institute! We are an independent non-profit NGO that is affiliated with the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA), but our activities include all continents.

SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES

At SusTec Institute, we support sustainable technologies that make a difference: high efficiency, easy implementation, and low-cost maintenance are some of the key parameters for our technologies.

WATER FILTER PUMPS FOR JERRYCANS

...

Water supply is a chain from the source to the consumer. Most technologies focus on purifying water at the source, but depending on source, transport, and storage, the water at the consumers’ end is often polluted and contaminated again.

Water Filter Pumps for Jerrycans purify the water right before it is consumed. Thus, unnecessary infections are avoided without boiling the water.

NANO COATING

...

Nano coating is a game changer in many areas like heating, cooling, cooking, lighting, collection and storage of solar energy, just to name a few.

Nano-coated products are easy to use, sturdy, and easy to maintain, which makes them perfect for operation in rural areas all around the world, as well as the perfect addition to other technologies for higher efficiency.

DIGITAL FARMING

...

When it is about agriculture, it is about climate, water, soil, pests, fertilizing, and more. Digital farming helps to optimize the process from sowing to harvest, to maximize crop yields, and to stay in control at all times.

Soil sensors, software applications, remote sensing, and such can make farming profitable even in areas with poor soil and an undersupply of water.

SUSTAINABLE FINANCING

...

Sustainable projects are always about funding. Due to bad planning, misuse, fraud, corruption, and such, potential investors shy away.

Thanks to our blockchain-based fintech applications, investors can rest assured that no money is wasted. At the same time, project managers can focus on results. Even donations can be safely distributed to those in need.

The SusTec City Project

Sustec City is a project where we connect disruptive technologies from different areas like water, health, electricity, transportation, recycling, finance, education, construction, agriculture, and many more to create a smart city that is smart for the people and smart for the planet.

We are creating a place where people don’t have to worry about water, food, health, and education.

We are creating a place where local traditions merge with modern technologies.

We are inviting people, businesses, organizations and foundations to participate.

Sustec City is our chance to create a role model for cities and communities all over the world, and at the same time making a big difference for the young generation of Africa by creating jobs, opportunities, and a bright future.

Sustec Institute Partners

SusTec Institute is working on sustainable technologies with scientists, engineers, developers, and experts from around the world. Additionally, we are supported by various Authorities, Foundations, and NGOs.
